The Sancerre region of France is located in the Loire valley. This region makes red, white, and rosé wines that are light and easy to drink. The rosé and red Sancerre are made from Pinot Noir, and therefore is pretty light and fruity. Flavors of violet and cherry are typical. They go with light meats - chicken, pork, and so on.
