Moinette blonde is a beer of high fermentation.Created in 1955, this beer is the floret of our brewery on the Belgian market. Its name comes from a deformation of old French “moëne” meaning “marsh, wet place”, specific characteristic to our area several centuries ago. There was also a mill and supposed of Moinette with Tourpes, properties of the Dupont family. With the origin, this beer was sold under the name “Abbey of Moinette” to become simply “Moinette” after 1980.Beer of fair coppered, with the fine hop flavours, Moinette blonde is very refreshing thanks to her balance between marrowy, bitterness and fruity. Our yeast selection gives typical flavours and taste. By refermentation in the bottle, which can be prolonged for a very long time in your cellar, results a beer with a complex and harmonious taste.

	Moinette dark is a high fermentation beer with refermentation on bottle. Since the creation in 1986, this beer has had more and more success. A mixture of 4 special malts gives it an uncommon colour, slightly dark brown. It are especially the aroma.s of hops and malts which stipulates the dominant taste. A gentle bitterness combines the Moinette dark with a slightly fruity taste.
